I ordered a figure from meccha-japan and it was definitely the real deal. The box had all the proper stickers and looked just like what you’d see in shops in Japan. Shipping took a little while, but that was fine. No worries at all about authenticity, and I’d be comfortable ordering from them again

"A Little Disappointed, But It Got Sorted"

"Pretty Reliable Shipping Overall"
I ordered from Meccha-Japan the tracking was solid for the most part. It updated when my package left Japan and then again once it reached my country, which made the whole thing feel reliable. There was one day where nothing updated, so that was a little annoying, but it still showed up when expected. Not flawless, but definitely good enough that I’d order from them again.

"Great Selection, Even If It Tempts Me Too Much"
I use Meccha Japan a lot because they just have so much more than I can usually find locally. Figures, plushies, snacks, weird little limited items, it’s all kind of mixed together, which makes browsing really fun. At the same time, it’s a bit dangerous because I’ll go on there for one thing and somehow find five other things I suddenly need. Some items do sell out fast, which is annoying, but also I can’t really be surprised since a lot of the stuff is limited or popular. Overall the selection is really good, even if I sometimes wish it was a little less good for my wallet

"Customs fees were a frustrating surprise"
I ended up getting hit with customs fees, which made my order way more expensive than I expected. i feel like they should’ve been clearer about that upfront, because I wouldn’t have ordered the same way if I’d known the final cost
